CrossFit is a training philosophy that specializes in not specializing. CrossFitters contend that a person is as fit as they are proficient in each of ten general physical skills: cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination and accuracy. In order to work on these proficiencies, we break each class into four segments - a dynamic warm up, skill/strength work, the "WOD" (short for workout of the day) and cool down and stretching.
