2025 Tennis Club Championship
Woohoo! Registration is OPEN for the 2025 Club Championship!
We’re shaking things up this year to keep the tournament running smoothly and give everyone the best experience possible! To help avoid those marathon Saturdays and Sundays, we’re trying something new: adding evening matches at 6:00 and 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, January 27-30.
Since this is our first time scheduling weekday matches, we won’t know which divisions will play during the week until registration closes. To make it all work, we’ve moved up the registration deadline to 11:59 PM on Friday, January 17—so don’t wait!
A Friendly Reminder:
We totally understand that life is busy, but we kindly ask that you prioritize tournament play that week. Before signing up for two events, please consider your schedule. If weekday evenings don’t work for you, it’s best to stick to one event to ensure fairness and fun for everyone.
Now that we’ve covered the essentials (besides the all-important registration link which you’ll find below), here are a few other tidbits to know…
USTA number
If you are not a member of the USTA, you will need a USTA number to register. You can get a free one here.
Draws
Draws will be announced by Thursday, January 23, at noon. And, for clarification, if you end up in a five team/player round robin, you’ll be playing 4 matches.
Consolation Expectations
Each year, we receive feedback from members who are disappointed when their consolation opponents choose not to play, especially if it means they don’t get their guaranteed two matches! Let’s keep in mind that participating in consolation matches is part of the fun and spirit of friendly competition. We encourage everyone to honor their match commitments and make the most of every opportunity to play.
Payment
We get this question every year. Even though you've completed your registration, your credit card will not be charged until we determine there are enough players to play your preferred event. (Don't worry! We know where to find you.) As for fees, the first event is $68 and you can add a second event for $34. (The discount will show when you checkout at registration.)
Friday Afternoon Play
During the registration process, we will ask about your Friday afternoon availability in the hopes of starting weekend matches early. Please be on the lookout for that and two other tournament related questions when you register.
Friday Night - The Party is Back!
We’ll celebrate Friday night (January 31) with an open bar (beer and wine) from 6:15 to 8:15 PM, paired with a delicious rustic Italian buffet served from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. It’s our treat for all players, who are welcome to bring a guest for just $25 (one guest per player). During registration, you’ll have the chance to RSVP so please do so. As a reminder, the party is an adults only event.
Maeve’s incredible Blue Court Grill team will be preparing:
- Caprese Caesar Pasta Salad
- Potato Au Gratin
- Green Beans
- Roasted Vegetables (peppers, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, asparagus)
- Roasted Chicken
- Roast Beef or Pork (depending on market availability)
- Fresh Fruit
- Sweet Treats
Child Care
The Day Care and DUC will be staffed regular hours except on Friday night. To accommodate the party, both areas will be open until 8:30 PM on January 31.
Tournament Grill Hours
Food will be served until 8:30 PM and the Grill will close at 9:30 PM during the week. (Last call will be at 9:15 PM.) Saturday and Sunday hours will be announced when the draws are made.
Swag
As you know, we don't do trophies for this tournament but we do want you to have a nice takeaway. This year’s will be a vest with a TAC logo. We have a ladies’ and men’s version. Please select your size during the registration process AFTER the payment process.
